Protest against the attacks on Indian Students in Australia

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is registered Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) doing social, religious and National welfare work. The Samiti has been formed by devoted Hindus doing voluntary charitable work. Samiti is active throughout India and educating people about Sanatan Hindu Dharma in scientific way, campaigning against malpractices done under religious practices and solving problems connected with National, Religious and social field.

Indian students specifically Hindus and Sikhs have of late been the targets of racist attacks in Australia with a 25 year old student battling for his life after a brutal assault. Thus there is a rising anger and frustration within the Indian Hindu community due to these racist attacks on the Indian Hindu students in Australia. Most of the attacks are opportunistic attacks and have come about due to the impression among criminal elements that our students are easy and soft targets. On the contrarily if inadvertently some injustice happens on foreign students in India the matter is immediately taken up with UNO, International Human Rights Commission etc.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti strongly condemns these dastardly and cowardly attacks. We request you to ensure that Indian Hindus/Sikhs are safe in Australia just as their countrymen are safe in India. So also we demand proper and speedy investigations in the matter to give early justice.

In this hour of need, we firmly stand behind our Indians living in Australia and we will appreciate strong action against the culprits.

Please acknowledge the receipt of this and inform us about the action being taken in the matter and oblige.
