A year of 2006 is celebrating as an “Urban Development Year” by Gujarat State. So, this year is very important year for BJP government of Gujarat. For getting success, project starts in different levels for development and re-structuring of 200 cities of Gujarat state. Management blue print is also prepared and we are sure that this strategic planning will change the face of 200 cities.
CM of Gujarat Shree Naredra Modi is very intelligent person and one thing is true about them is that what he thinks and decides, that work fulfills efficiently, timely and the best way. A long term strategy for development of 200 cities of Gujarat is decided after deep thinking and also concentrated on financial planning.
Read these points:-
I. Water:
Planning to give 140 liters water per person after expenditure of 300 crores in all the urban areas up to 2007. Which is also target of our national water policy? For fulfill this achievement, all the Municipal Corporations will join in “AMRUTDHARA YOJANA”.
II. Drainage System:-
Incomplete projects of Municipal drainage system will complete soon.
III. Electricity:-
Special Strategy will apply to give constant 24 hrs. Electricity all the cities of Gujarat state.
IV. Road:-
Under “Vikas Path Yojana”, all the highways which are passed through cities will re-surface with the expenditure of 100 crores. Under “Suvidha Path Yojana” all the encroachment on the road and footpath will be removed. A Maine road of every Municipal Corporation will develop as a “Gaurav Path” and to get more facilities of roads, flyover and underpass will also construct.
V. Fire Service:-
For get more effective of this facility, 78 crores will be used for all the cities.
VI. Gas:-
Policy to give gas about 50% of population of cities by pipeline. For this Rs. 2000 crores is invested in different cities.
VII. Transportation:-
Bus service will be privatized. Planning to run CNG buses and all the S.T. stands of every city will get more advance facilities.
VIII. Special development of areas of cities:-
BJP government of Gujarat will decided to develop those cities which are at sea cost, boarder area and religious place. The lake will also develop of these cities.
IX. Historical Monuments:-
All the historical monuments will maintain in all the cities. For this achievement, Gujarat Urban Heritage institute will establish.
X. Playgrounds:-
Playgrounds will develop in all cities of district.
XI. E-governance:-
Web-sites related to all the cities will be created.
XII. Pragatipath- Kisanpath:-
Nine pragatipath is developed to join important cities and also Kisanpath is developed to join all the villages to cities in this year.
