Implementation of these projects is being closely monitored.
· The flow of investments continues unabated. Gujarat is one of the leading states in the country in attracting domestic and foreign investments.
· State achieved No. 1 position on commissioned projects in the current year among leading industrially developed state in the country.
· State is working to achieve 15 % plus annual industrial growth.
· The state is fast becoming a service oriented economy with already a strong base in agriculture and manufacturing.
GUJARAT – THE PETRO CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY.
· Gujarat being developed into a modern petro capital of India; 120 million tonners of new reserves discovered.
· Gas pipelines infrastructure being established – 425 kms from Hazira to Kalol completed and commissioned.
· Protective gas distribution systems to provide gas to industries and residents implemented.
